Karo knows the pain of unplanned job loss. She was made redundant on maternity leave and struggled to adjust to her new situation. However, as time passed, she embraced the freedom that came with redundancy and leaned into her career-coaching services, which she had previously offered only in her free time. Today, she works as a full-time career coach, a development that wouldn’t have been possible without her redundancy, and she guides other people toward finding the next step in their careers.
