Hi, I’m Elizabeth, but you can call me Liz. I’m the Founder of Investing in Women.
I started Investing in Women from my dining room table during the pandemic after being made redundant from my In-House Recruiter role at one of the Big 4. With two toddlers, I didn’t want to work full-time but struggled to find a part-time job at my level, so I decided to put my 18 years of recruitment experience to good use and founded a recruitment company to help people find flexible and part-time jobs. We’re now an award-winning recruitment company, and my debut book, Flex, was released in January 2025.
Besides being a mum to Emily and Annabelle, I have a labradoodle named Dougal and a husband, Henry. My favourite food is good ol’ Yorkshire fish and chips – and of course, mushy peas.

Hi, I’m Adele, and I love being part of the team at Investing In Women.
I’ve worked in recruitment for a number of years, and I have the same passion today as I did on my very first day. My role as Recruitment Manager is exciting, as no two days are ever the same. You will find me updating new roles on our website and social media, interviewing, and sourcing candidates. I love helping candidates find their dream roles.
Outside of work, I’m a busy mum to a sports-loving son, a crazy cockapoo, and a very patient husband.

Hi, I’m Claire, the newest member of the Investing in Women team! My job is to shout from the rooftops about the incredible work we’re doing and to champion part-time, flexible, and remote work options for all the hardworking mums (and dads) out there.
I bring a diverse background in recruitment, HR, sales, customer service, and marketing. What really excites me is promoting brands and sharing their unique stories. As Marketing Manager, I’m here to highlight how flexible work can help you excel in your career while balancing family life.
I live in Doncaster, affectionately known as Costa del Donny, and I’m the proud mum of an energetic little guy named Lorenzo. Our family also includes two lively dogs, Boston and Bella, and my wonderful Italian hubby, who’s a whiz in the kitchen! We love visiting his family in Sardinia to soak up the sunshine and enjoy delicious Italian food.

Hi, I’m Matt – the tech brains behind Investing in Women. Honestly, without me, Liz would be lost, as tech is not her strong suit (shhh, don’t tell her I said that). I build and manage the Investing in Women job board and website, so if you have any suggestions about how to make the site better, please get in touch.
I’ve been working with Investing In Women for a number of years now and have loved seeing the team and platform flourish and win some amazing awards, all from the amazing work Liz and the team have done.
Away from building and managing websites, I’m a dad to 3 children. I live in sunny (hahaha) Darlington, enjoy holidays to Turkey, and my favourite food is Pizza or Pasta (well, anything Italian if I’m honest).
