Getting You the Flexible, Part-Time or Work-From-Home Job You Want and Deserve!

Getting You the Flexible, Part-Time or Work-From-Home Job You Want and Deserve!

All across the UK, I’ve helped thousands of women just like you. They all wanted a flexible yet rewarding job that fitted around them, their kids, dog, hobbies, studies or side hustle…

No More Wondering… ‘Can I Have It All?’

It may seem like a pipe dream, but trust me, with the right employer, you can have a well-paid, rewarding job that offers the flexibility you want and deserve.

If you want a flexible job that challenges you (in a good way, obvs), is fulfilling and pays what you’re worth….

You're in the right place, my friend!

But it hasn’t always been like this…

Before Investing in Women, I’d just been made redundant from a job I loved (yep – I was an economic casualty of the Covid pandemic). I’d worked part-time in the Recruitment team at one of the Big 4, hiring HR Consultants in their Consulting practice.

Here’s what they don’t tell you about looking for a part-time job…

Turns out, finding a decent part-time gig isn’t a walk in the park. To maintain my family (and life)-friendly hours, I’d have to take a giant step down in my career (and a hefty pay cut, making childcare crazy expensive).

Every time I mentioned part-time to a Recruiter, I’d get the “full-time only” speech or worse, they’d ghost me! I mean – how rude!

But my daughters were just toddlers at the time (2 and 3 years old). I didn’t want to miss all the precious milestones working in a full-time role. And I bet you’re here ’cause you’re itching for that perfect flexible job too.

Good news! It doesn’t have to be this way:

-You don’t have to be the mum torn between climbing the career ladder or soaking up family time.

– Or the woman who can’t take that lunchtime spin class because her boss is still living in 2019.

-Or miss out on that girls’ weekend because you’ve run out of annual leave.

✔️ There are forward-thinking and family/life-friendly employers that want to recruit and promote superstars – just like you – on hours that work for you, your family and your lifestyle.

Want to know more about me ?

I’m originally from Huddersfield in Yorkshire.

I moved to London straight from University, where I joined Hays, one of the world’s largest recruitment agencies. My Yorkshire accent’s still going strong (apart from my telephone voice, which I have no bodily control over!)

I started my career recruiting Qualified Accountants into Banks

Before switching partway through my recruitment agency career to hiring HR professionals in Financial Services.

I have a soft spot for Accountants, and based on my recruiting experience, I persuaded my brother to become one.

He’s now a Head of Finance at one of the world’s largest Asset Management Companies.

I’ve always worked in Recruitment.

Apart from a brief stint as a Colour Me Beautiful Personal Stylist – yep, I was the gal who told you what colours to rock… If you haven’t had ‘your colours done’, you definitely should – it’s a life-changing experience.

As well as mum to 2 daughters (Emily and Annabelle)

I also have a labradoodle dog called Dougal and a husband, Henry, who works in Financial Services.

I conceived my eldest daughter via IVF after a 4-year struggle with infertility.

My second daughter was a surprise natural conception – hello, 19-month age gap and double trouble! Toughest yet most rewarding gig ever!
