Hawthorn Advisors Ltd

Description

As our Marketing Lead, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering Hawthorn's marketing activity, translating business priorities into impactful campaigns, content and initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, engagement and growth, with a heavy focus on digital channels.

Working closely with Partners, the Head of Digital and other senior stakeholders, you will act as an internal marketing adviser, helping to refine ideas, identify opportunities and develop integrated marketing approaches that support business objectives. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking broad objectives or early-stage concepts and turning them into clear, actionable plans that deliver measurable results.

The role spans the full marketing lifecycle, from planning and campaign development through to content creation, events, thought leadership and performance evaluation. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, you will lead activity from concept to execution, collaborating with specialist colleagues where required, while maintaining responsibility and ownership of outcomes.

Alongside supporting Hawthorn's own growth ambitions, you will also contribute marketing insight and expertise to client-facing opportunities, helping to develop creative and effective approaches that deliver value for clients.

This is a unique opportunity that allows you to play the role of both an in-house marketing lead and an experienced agency life by serving as a consultant to our clients with marketing and digital communications briefs.

  • Support the planning, development, and promotion of events within the marketing calendar, working closely with internal teams
  • Manage event logistics, ensuring delivery to a high standard, and conduct post-event ROI analysis to measure effectiveness and inform future activity
  • Develop creative briefs and oversee the production of key marketing assets, including brand video content, ensuring creative outputs are audience-relevant, aligned with campaign objectives and measurable.
  • Review, update, and create marketing collateral to reflect current positioning and support emerging business areas
  • Identify and drive opportunities for thought leadership, supporting individuals in developing content that enhances brand visibility and authority
  • Deliver ad-hoc marketing projects as required, including website updates, LinkedIn activity, and project or client-specific initiatives
  • Act as a central marketing resource to the business, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and executional delivery
  • Actively support the Management Board and participate in committees or working groups.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure equitable treatment and a positive work environment.
