ISC Group Global C.I.C

Historically known as the Insurance Supper Club first established in 2003, ISC-Group is a purpose led Community Interest Company (CIC) not for dividend membership organisation that partners with re/insurance companies dedicated to increasing the representation of women in senior leadership positions in the sector.

Working with industry leaders and subject matter experts, ISC-Group acts as a hub for corporates and individuals to provide the additional resources required to retain women in the sector and accelerate their career progression.

ISC-Group founded and led by Barbara Schonhofer and other senior industry women as a response to the low representation of women in senior roles in the insurance sector. The group was initially a business network for female directors to unite together peer to peer, share their career challenges and support one another in business.

The outcomes and take aways from the initial years showcased the need for additional resources in the sector to support the retention and career development of women at every stage in their work life, not just at a senior level. As a result, in 2016, ISC-Group registered as a C.I.C. more formally partnering with insurance companies to provide targeted and tailored resources for women within these businesses.

ISC Group is essentially a membership based business community.
