About
We are a northwest London based film lighting rental company with a leading reputation for sustainable business practice. We hire energy efficient lights to film makers and others making commercials, independent films, tv series, videos and short films. We put the environment at the heart of our business and actively seek to champion environmentally friendly equipment options for our clients. All our staff share our values and each has specific responsibilities for environmental practice in a specific area. We are growing quickly having tripled our turnover since Covid while keeping costs responsible. We are a London Living Wage employer, and all our employees enjoy private health insurance through Vitality, company pension, and are eligible for a share in the profit bonus where that is paid at year end. We have a great reputation for friendly, professional customer service and we are keen to recruit enthusiastic self-starters who want to make a contribution to our success and thrive being part of a small hardworking team.
Do you have targets to increase the number of women in leadership positions? If yes, please provide details.
One of the two directors is a woman and out of the 10 employees who are not directors 4 are women, which is a much higher proportion than the film lighting industry as a whole.
All female employees are automatically enrolled in our Corporate membership for Women in film and TV. We also encourage our female employees to network actively with relevant groups such as Women Behind the Camera and Illuminatrix both of which actively mentor women coming up through the technical departments on film sets.
