1:1 business coaching – with me, personally – for women who want to build a genuinely profitable business around their actual life, not the life a business guru thinks they should have.
Maybe you were made redundant on maternity leave. Maybe you asked for four days and got a lecture about “commitment.” Maybe you just looked at the next ten years and thought: not like this.
So now you’ve got an idea. Or a side hustle. Or a business that’s a year in and busier than ever – but somehow not making the money it should.
And everywhere you look for help, it’s the same two options
The “scale to 7 figures” crowd. Hustle harder. 5 am starts. Sacrifice everything for the dream. (Great, but who’s doing the school run?)
The fluffy stuff. Vision boards. Manifesting. “Just believe in yourself, babe.”
Five years ago, I was sitting at my dining room table, newly redundant, with a toddler and a baby, unable to find a single part-time role at my level.
So I built one.
Today, Investing in Women is one of the UK’s leading flexible recruitment platforms. Along the way I’ve:
Grown a community of 85,000+ women – from a standing start
Built multiple income streams across recruitment, partnerships and media
Won Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards
Signed a book deal with Wiley (my first book, Flex, is on its way)
Launched a podcast, Work It Like A Mum, with listeners around the world
Built a second business alongside it – leading one of the fastest-growing teams at Utility Warehouse, 300+ people strong, generating multi-million pound sales every year

No 5 am club. No missed sports days. No burnout badge of honour.
Not because I’m superhuman. Because I built the business around my life – deliberately, strategically, from day one.
That’s what I coach.
Over 12 weeks, we’ll work together to take you from “I’ve got something here” to a business with a clear offer, a real audience, and money coming in — on hours that work for you.
No fluff. No hustle culture. No pretending the school run doesn’t exist.
Who, What, and Why
Said so clearly that people get it in one sentence. (This is where most small businesses quietly bleed money. We fix it first.)
That People Actually Buy
Pricing that reflects your worth, not your imposter syndrome. Packages that sell. Income streams that don’t all depend on you being “on.”
Without Living Online
How I built an 85,000-strong community through LinkedIn — the hooks, strategy and consistency that won’t consume your life.
Without The Ick
Selling isn’t sleazy when you genuinely solve a problem. We’ll build a sales approach that feels like you – warm, honest, human – and still converts.
That fits Your Hours
Systems, boundaries and priorities that make school-hours working possible — because success shouldn’t come at the expense of your family.
The Founder Stuff
Confidence wobbles. Comparison spirals. The voice that says “who am I to charge that?” We deal with all of it – practically, not preachily.
✔️ A 90-minute kick-off deep dive – we map your whole business: where you are, where you’re going, and the fastest route between the two
✔️ Five further fortnightly coaching calls (60 minutes, on Zoom, recorded so you can rewatch) – with a fortnight between calls to actually implement, because progress happens between sessions, not just on them
✔️ WhatsApp voice note support between sessions – stuck on a pricing decision or a LinkedIn post on a Tuesday? Send me a voice note. I reply within 24 hours on weekdays. You’re never on your own between calls.
✔️ Eyes on your actual work – I’ll review your offers, your sales page, your content, your pitch. Real feedback, not generic frameworks.
✔️ A clear plan – you’ll finish every call knowing exactly what to do next, and finish the 12 weeks with a business that’s built to last.
You’re a woman with a business idea, a side hustle, or an early-stage business – and you’re serious about making it work
You want profit, not just “being busy”
You’re building around real life: kids, caring, health, or simply a refusal to work 60-hour weeks
You’re willing to do the work (I’ll bring the strategy and the straight talk – you bring the action)
You’re looking for a magic bullet or someone to do it for you
You want permission to keep “planning” forever
You think success has to look like burnout
I only work with five clients at a time. Not as a marketing tactic but because proper 1:1 coaching means knowing your business inside out, replying to your voice notes properly, and giving your offers and content real attention. That doesn’t scale, and I don’t want it to.
Let me tell you something I don’t share often enough.
When I started Investing in Women, I hired a business coach. She was the biggest investment I’d ever made at the time – and I made it as a newly redundant mum with no guarantee any of this would work.
I remember hovering over that payment button thinking: this is a lot of money for a business that doesn’t exist yet.
But here’s the truth: if I hadn’t invested in her, Investing in Women would not be here today.
Not the award. Not the book deal. Not the 85,000-strong community. None of it.
Because the most expensive thing you can do isn’t hiring a coach. It’s spending years undercharging, second-guessing and figuring it out alone – while the business you could have built stays stuck in your head.
I’m not asking you to do anything I didn’t do myself, at a far scarier moment than this one.

I’ve spent 20+ years in business – from Hays and Deloitte to founding my own award-winning company
I’ve built two successful businesses, both from home, both around my daughters – including one of the fastest-growing teams at Utility Warehouse, doing multi-million pounds of sales per year
I already coach and mentor hundreds of people in that team to build their own flexible income = many of them mums, all of them starting from zero
I’m the person 85,000 women trust for straight answers about work and careers
Wiley – one of the world’s biggest publishers – signed me to write a book about exactly this
I’m not teaching theory. I’m teaching what I did last week.
“I’m so grateful I took the opportunity to work with Elizabeth Willetts. She’s been an incredible coach and mentor who always puts the team first. It’s a pleasure to work alongside someone so successful and passionate about empowering women, championing flexible working, and helping us shape our lives the way we want to. I’m genuinely thankful for her guidance and support, and the opportunity she has given me.”
“Elizabeth saw something in me before I saw it in myself. With her coaching, I’ve achieved three promotions, built real confidence in my own ability, and I’m now mentoring others to do exactly what I did. What makes her different is that she’s not teaching from a textbook. She’s built it all herself, around her family, and she shows you step by step how to do the same. If you get the chance to work with her, take it.”
“I’m so grateful that I took the opportunity to work with Elizabeth Willets. I feel inspired by her leadership and commitment to empowering women, especially through her work on supporting women in flexible working, where her encouragement helped me take on new responsibilities and develop my skills. Elizabeth has been an incredible coach and mentor who always puts the team first, and her advocacy for flexible working has enabled many of us to find a better balance in our professional and personal lives. I particularly appreciated her support during a period of career change, which made a significant difference in my growth and confidence. Thank you for being such a positive influence and for the guidance and opportunities you have provided. I look forward to continuing to learn from you and am excited about our future collaborations.”
Liz is an exceptional mentor and leader. Her guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support have made a lasting impact on my growth and confidence in just a few weeks! Liz leads by example, keeps momentum going and regularly checks in to make sure all is okay. Liz is always approachable, and I know that if there is anything I need help with, Liz would not hesitate to help me. I am so glad I reached out to Liz and wish I had done so sooner!
Working with Elizabeth Willets has been one of the best decisions for my career. She helped me become a Team Leader far quicker than I ever expected, always coaching from my perspective and genuinely investing in what I wanted to achieve – not just a generic playbook. She’s incredibly switched on, sharp, and truly inspirational to learn from. I’m so grateful for her guidance and the confidence she’s helped me build. If you’re looking for a coach who will champion your growth and push you toward real results, Elizabeth is exactly who you need.
I haven’t started my business yet. Is this too soon?
No – it’s actually the best time. We’ll validate your idea before you sink months into the wrong thing. Starting right beats starting fast.
I’m already a couple of years in. Is this too basic?
Not at all. Most of my work with established founders is untangling what’s been built by instinct – sharpening the offer, fixing the pricing, building the audience properly. Sometimes the biggest growth comes from doing less, better.
How much time do I need?
The calls, plus a few hours a week to implement. If you can find pockets of time around your commitments – that’s exactly the kind of business we’re building, so consider it practice.
Do you offer refunds?
I offer honesty instead: if I don’t think we’re a fit, I’ll tell you on the discovery call, before you spend a penny. I’d rather turn you away than take on someone I can’t help.
What kind of businesses do you work with?
All sorts – coaches, consultants, product businesses, service businesses, side hustles ready to scale. The industry isn’t the point. Positioning, offers, audience, sales and building around your life are universal. That’s the work
Book a free discovery call, tell me where you are and where you want to be, and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help.
I only work with five clients at a time – because 1:1 means exactly that. When spaces are full, there’s a waitlist.
